The Associate in Science Degree Program with a Computer Information Systems Major is designed to provide you with basic skills necessary to obtain entry-level employment as a junior programmer, management trainee or other critical position in the Computer Information Systems industry.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies is a unique educational avenue for today’s career-focused students. The degree allows students to take courses directly associated with their specific career interests. An “Open-Major Concentration” permits the student to develop skills in a variety of career related disciplines.

The Associate in Science Degree program with a Legal Assistant Major is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as part of the legal team in law firms, savings and loan associations, government agencies, insurance companies and title companies. The Legal Assistant usually works under the supervision of an attorney and assumes part of the attorney’s workload, freeing the attorney for tasks that only attorneys are qualified to perform.
The Jones College Online Legal courses are supplemented with business and general education offerings, which prepare a student for the many roles they may be asked to fulfill in the legal environment. Online Learning requires self-discipline and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Although online classes are more convenient, students should not have any preconceived notions that Online Learning courses are easier. A successful Online Learning student must have proficient knowledge of Standard English writing and communication skills, know how to manage time effectively and be proficient in basic computer skills. All course related activities are done within the class web site, including submitting assignments, communications and tests.
